We’re so proud to see Carers Trust’s #BeingThereMatters campaign live in the national press this September.
A huge thank you to the Carers Trust team for trusting Campfire to bring this important story to life. This project has been about more than creative work, it’s about making sure young carers feel seen, heard and supported.
We’re delighted to help bring this issue to the public's attention and help so many of the young carers who have no one to turn to. This is the start of a broader brand and fundraising campaign and the start of a long and strong partnership.
Because being there really does matter. But it comes at a cost. Without support, caring responsibilities can become overwhelming, leading to burnout, anxiety and isolation. For too many children, it means missing out on both their childhood and their future.
The scale is sobering. There are 50,000 young carers spending 50 hours a week caring for a family member. As schools and colleges reopened last week, the pressure only grew. Two children in every class miss at least a month of school each year because they are carers.
We’re delighted to help bring this issue to the public's attention and help so many of the young carers who have no one to turn to. This is the start of a broader brand and fundraising campaign and the start of a long and strong partnership.
We welcome Carers Trust to team Campfire.
